Fire and safety officer — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Jefferson County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
