MIG/MAG welder • Warren County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Warren County, New York. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
