Stitching operator wanted in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £2,850 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
