Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Shelby County, Iowa. You will spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings. Requirements: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Full-time with occasional weekends.
