Vacancy available: power press operator (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Cedar County, Missouri. The job is at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts.
