Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Owyhee County, Idaho. The job is on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
