Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Nelson County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
