MIG/MAG welder • Santa Rosa County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Santa Rosa County, Florida. You will be based on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
