Cold room technician • West Northamptonshire, England

Join our team: we are hiring a cold room technician in West Northamptonshire, England. You will work in an HVAC service company. On a typical shift you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; clean condenser and evaporator coils. Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Valid driving licence for field call-outs 1+ years on the tools preferred.
