MIG/MAG welder • Loup County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Loup County, Nebraska. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred.
