You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Your main tasks: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
