Steel fixing chargehand • Calabar Municipal, Cross River State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 5+ years on the tools preferred.
