Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Linn County, Iowa. You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
