Gang bricklayer • Itu, Akwa Ibom State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Itu, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
