Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Obot Akara

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦165,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
