Vertical milling machine operator • Cheshire East, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cheshire East, England. You will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. What we are looking for: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. £1,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
