Furnace operator • Union County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Union County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Part-time with flexible hours.
