Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Clark County, Missouri. You should have: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On a typical shift you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint.
