Sand plant operator wanted in Campbell County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Campbell County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy iron foundry. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
