Urgent requirement: safety inspector (Alabama)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Marshall County, Alabama. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
