Incoming goods inspector wanted in Pasquotank County

Now hiring: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day to day you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
