Now hiring: we are hiring a glass fitter in Terry County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Rotating shifts.
