Immediate opening: we are hiring a wall and floor tiler in Sarasota County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Day to day you will lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
