Restoration bricklayer • Franklin County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Franklin County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
