Structural MIG welder • Ukanafun, Akwa Ibom State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Ukanafun, Akwa Ibom State. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
