Canteen cook wanted in Lawrence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a canteen cook in Lawrence County, Kentucky. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits.
