Vertical transportation technician wanted in Clark County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Clark County, South Dakota. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
