Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Gulf County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Valid digital tachograph card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules The role involves: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading 4+ years on the tools preferred.
