Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Saunders County, Nebraska. You will be based at a plant hire yard. Your main tasks: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Check for underground cables and services before digging Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
