Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Charles County, Maryland. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
