Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Tarka, Benue State. The role involves control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
