Brick and block layer wanted in Colquitt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Colquitt County, Georgia. The job is on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
