Sample machinist wanted in Wallace County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Wallace County, Kansas. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Full-time with occasional weekends.
