Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Poquoson, Virginia. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
