Now hiring: scullery hand (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scullery hand in Glades County, Florida. You will empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. Ideal candidate: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
