Cnc lathe operator wanted in South Tyneside

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in South Tyneside, England. On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
