Site safety steward wanted in Clark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Clark County, Illinois. You will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
