Excavator operator — Indiana County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing The role involves: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Six days a week, one day off.
