Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Lincoln County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Lincoln County, Maine. You will be based on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
