Vacancy available: crane rigger (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Hawkins County, Tennessee. The job is at a shipyard. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams On the job you will handle: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
