Turning centre operator • City of Waynesboro, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
