Stainless steel welder • Clark County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Clark County, Kentucky. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
