Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Cass County, Indiana. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
