Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Prince William County, Virginia. You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
