Concrete pump mate wanted in Blount County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Blount County, Tennessee. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
