Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Lamar County, Texas. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
