Immediate opening: glass and glazing technician (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Lawrence County, Illinois. The role involves: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
