Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Winn Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • 2+ years' experience as a baker You will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
