Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Van Buren County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance The role involves keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; check for underground cables and services before digging. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
