Now hiring: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Henry County, Virginia. You will be based on new-build apartment projects. Ideal candidate: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Your main tasks: • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes Six days a week, one day off.
